Police involved-shooting on South Side
CHICAGO (STMW) — An offender has been reported as possibly shot in a police-involved shooting in the South Side Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood Monday night.
The shooting happened near South Vernon Avenue and East 69th Street at 9:06 p.m. Monday, police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said.
The shooting was police-involved and one offender has been reported shot according to preliminary reports, Zala said.
Calumet Area detectives are investigating.
